UV Light Sources
UV Light Sources
Product name : UV Light Sources
Description :
The UV region of the spectrum is useful for the measurement of everything from small organic molecules to proteins and nucleic acids. All biological samples and many industrial and consumer products are active in the UV. Whether you are measuring absorption, fluorescence or reflectance, the UV region of the spectrum can be vital for obtaining a proper understanding of your sample. Most all UV sources also have some light emission into the visible region of the spectrum as well, making them ideal for measuring samples in both regions of the spectrum.
Xenon sources (PX-2 and HPX-2000 models) offer very high intensity in the UV and are useful for absorbance, fluorescence or reflectance measurements. Pulsed Xenon sources, like the PX-2, are high intensity with a lower duty cycle, making them ideal for measurements where too much UV light can damage the sample.
