Description :
The TruePhase 14xx Polarization Maintaining Optical Fibers are optimized for operation in the 1400 – 1490 nm band which is of interest for Raman amplification enabling delivery of high stable output power in this wavelength range.
The main optical characteristics are listed in the table below.
The TruePhase 14xx is available in 2 versions with respect to Optical Birefringence. The standard option (HBL – High Beat Length) is specified with a Beat Length of 3.7 mm – 4.7 mm @ 1455 nm, while the Low Beat Length (LBL) version has a Beat Length < 4.2 mm @ 1455 nm.
The standard option is available coating having a diameter of 250 µm and 400 µm respectively. Both versions can be supplied proof tested to 100 kpsi or 200 kpsi depending on the application in mind.
